YOUTH CLUB (MC) PEKARNA
Built as a toast bakery, hence the name Pekarna (Bakery). Some years later, two extensions were added to the original building, both serving for the rising of bread. The bakery supplied the Yugoslav Army with bread until 1991, when the barracks were abandoned. Three years later, it was squatted and occupied by the youth, turning it into a club with a café and a space for concerts and similar events. The club still houses a perfectly preserved original bread oven from the end of the 19th century.
